Land Reclamation & Mine Rehabilitation - dust & erosion control

Land reclamation and rehabilitation areas are subject to wind and water erosion of soils and sands if uncovered by vegetation etc. To reduce the erosion issues the application of DUSTCAP allows some water to penetrate into the soils surface for plant growth while holding the soil surface stabile. The crust produced also reduces the evaporation of water from the surface thereby allowing efficient use of the applied water to the area. DUSTCAP also prevents excess water from leaching heavy metals and toxins from rehabilitated areas. DUSTCAP can also be modified to create a totally impervious cap on waste rock dumps to prevent heavy metal toxin leaching and acid mine drainage from waste rock dumps.
